Two, coaxial debugging
The coaxiality of the nozzle exit hole and the laser beam is one of the important factors affecting the cutting quality. If the nozzle is not coaxial with the laser, it will only affect the effect of the cutting surface. In serious cases, the laser will hit the nozzle, causing the heat and burning of the nozzle.
Coaxial debugging requires a nozzle with a diameter of 1.2mm and scotch tape.The steps are as follows:
1. Adjust the coaxial axis at focal point 0 so that the laser is in the center of the nozzle;
2. Spot the light at the focal point ±6mm;
3. If the focal point 0 and ±6mm are in the center of the nozzle, it is normal.Otherwise replace the cutting head or laser offset

Three, check the spot distribution
The shape of the spot directly feedback the transverse distribution of laser energy.Spot roundness represents the uniformity of energy distribution in different directions of the spot, and the spot with high roundness has the same energy distribution in all directions. When cutting, it can ensure the consistency of cutting surface finish and cutting speed in all directions, so as to ensure the quality of cutting products.
To check the spot distribution, prepare single-layer nozzles with diameters greater than 2.0mm and black spot paper.The steps are as follows:
1. The black spot paper shall be about 300mm away from the cutting head nozzle and light shall be generated;
2. If there are black spots in the spot with obvious outline, the lens will be dirty;
3. If the spot is not round and the center is shifted, the laser spot distribution is poor.

Iv. Actual zero focus detection
The focal point of laser cutting is a very important data in the cutting process parameters. Different materials and thickness of cutting need to be adjusted into different focal points.Before cutting, measure the actual zero focus to refer to chuangxin cutting process parameters, faster to determine the most appropriate cutting focus.If the actual zero focus shift is too large, the cutting focus range will not be enough to cut the thick plate.
Detection method:
1. Fix the cutting height at 0.5mm, and mark the 1mm stainless steel with each change of 0.5mm focus position;
2. Compare the line widths at different focal points, and the focal point corresponding to the minimum line width is the actual zero focal point;
3. The actual zero focus shall be within the range of ±1. If the zero focus deviation is too large, the cutting head shall be adjusted or replaced.

The biggest problem of cutting thick carbon steel plate by wanw laser is the hot nozzle, so before cutting, it is necessary to test the nozzle heating when the nozzle of different size is full power at different focal points.
Test premise:
1, adjust the coaxial, so that the spot in the nozzle center output;
2. Cut and install cooling air of nozzle;
Test method:
1. Place an iron bucket (with appropriate amount of water) under the light of the cutting head;
2. First blow the auxiliary gas (gas type and air pressure shall be cut in accordance with the gas required by the actual cutting), then discharge the light at full power for 30 seconds, and measure the temperature change of the nozzle.Change the focus position and continue testing as described above;
3. Change the nozzle size and continue the test according to the above methods;
4. Summarize the heating conditions of different nozzles, and provide references for subsequent cutting process debugging.If the nozzle is not a very narrow heating range, then check the cutting head, nozzle, lens and laser problems, after troubleshooting problems, can be the next step of cutting plate technology debugging.
